Re: a little problem
OK, I imported the hu.gif image onto the flag image. Then you need to resize the gif, correlating the top-left and bottom-right corners. Now, check the size of the color image- you'll need to split it in half vertically. For me, the image was 1076 pixels wide by 816 pixels high. The goal is to create a left and right side of the gif that is 538 pixels wide by 816 pixels high, each on their own layer. Make sure that each layer contains ONLY the portion of the flag you want to transform, with no transparent pixels. The reason for this is that you have to transform each side separately to match the flag image. When you do the transformation, you'll see a drop-down menu on the top menu bar. Select "flag" from this menu. Place a -6 in the "bend" text box, and you'll be in the ballpark. From there, you can grab the edges to fine-tune the transformation. Don't move the image while transforming, or the left and right sides won't match up. When you get both halves of the flag transformed, merge those two layers together, and do one more transformation to get the horizontal bow into the flag. In the image below, the only other thing that I've done is to set the blend mode of the color layer to "linear burn". You'll notice it isn't perfect- you still have some edges to deal with. That shouldn't be too difficult though.
